KIDS & TEENS

A very wise parent once said...

“One of the best gifts you can give to your kids is
giving them someone to talk to who is not you.”

Kids need their parents. And they need their peers.

But there’s a third type of person they need, and that’s someone beyond the immediate family and outside of their peer group. This group is diverse:  it can include extended family members, teachers and mentors, but kids AND parents often benefit from talking to a licensed counselor or therapist, an objective third party in a confidential, nurturing safe space.

If your child is experiencing anxiety, ADHD, or simply wants someone to talk to, individual therapy may be a good option! Because each child needs different things, and some need more connection and support than others.
